David Blaylock scored a game-high of 26 points and was 3-for-5 at the free-throw line, but Huston-Tillotson defeated University of the Southwest 100-95 Thursday evening at the Mary E. Branch Gymnasium in Red River Athletic Conference play.
Junior
Ron'Quis Lewis chipped in 13 points and went 3-for-5 at the free throw line. Senior
Jeffrey Long scored 12 points and went 2-for-2 at the three-point line. Senior
Marcelious Green scored 10 points and went 2-for-4 at the free throw line. Sophomore
Tyler Watts also contributed with five points.

Leroy Cox both added nine points. Senior
Xavier Hodge scored five points and went 1-for-2 at the three-point line.
For the game, USW shot 48 percent (38-for-80) from the field, while Huston-Tillotson (3-6, 3-2 RRAC) shot 43.9 percent (29-for-66) from the floor.
The Mustangs (5-10, 2-3 RRAC) return to conference action this Saturday against Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.
