HOBBS, N.M. – Junior Aaliyah Wheatfall scored a team-high 13 points, but Our Lady of the Lake defeated University of the Southwest women's basketball 102-56 Saturday evening in Red River Athletic Conference action at the Maddox Student Life Center.
 
Junior Catarina Garcia helped out with 10 points and grabbed a team-high five rebounds.
 
Freshman Harlei Hacessa added nine points on 3-for-4 shooting from the floor.
 
Sophomore Naomi Solsberry added eight points on 3-for-4 shooting from the field.
 
As a team USW shot 31 percent (17-for-54) from the floor, while OLLU connected on 49 percent (36-for-73) of its shots.
 
USW returns to action next weekend at Wiley and Jarvis Christian.
