Box Score ESPANOLA, NM---The Lady Mustangs took to the court for their second game of thr season as they took on the Southwestern Christian Eagles at the Northen N.M. Classic. USW was unable to overcome a slow 1st quarter and lost 74-64. The Lady Mustangs are now 2-0 on the season. 

"We just didn't play hard enough. They shot 76% in the first half and 61% 3-PT for the game. We were getting lost on defense and we just kept trading buckets. Defensively we need to be better. The last six minutes our reserves played great. We were down 20 points at one point and came back and brought the game to a for possession game. There were several girls that played very well and I hope it becomes infections to the whole team." Said Head Coach Devonte Brewer after the game. 

Rhianna Bartoli led all scorers with 12 points in just 16 minutes. 

The Lady Mustangs travel to Tabor, Kansas on November 1st to take on the Tabor College Bluejays.
