HOBBS, NM---The Lady Mustangs pushed their RRAC conference record to 3-0 on Saturday as they defeated the Huston-Tillotson Rams 2-1. The victory marks their 3rd win in a row. 

Naomi Morales opened up the scoring in the 11th minute of the game to give the Mustangs the 1-0 lead. 

Hobbs native Jennifer Schroeder scored in the 70th minute to extend the Mustangs lead. 

Midfielder Lauren Zarate had 4 shots on goal on the afternoon. Goalkeeper Andrea Martinez allowed her first conference goal of the season, but made 13 saves throughout the match. 

The Rams outshot the Mustangs 22-13. 

USW hosts Houston-Victoria Thursday in another conference matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 PM MST.
