TABOR, KS & NORTH NEWTON, KS---The Lady Mustang Basketball program entered their second week of regular season action on the road in Kansas. The Lady Mustangs took on Tabor College on Friday night and Bethel College on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Mustangs were unable to come away with victories in either game, but the team is moving in a positive direction in the eyes of Head Coach
Devonte Brewer.
"Overall I thought we played really hard. Our girls forced 54 turnvovers in the two games. That's alot of ball pressure and a lot of opportunities at the basket. Against Bethel we had 69 shots compared to their 53. The difference was we shot 27% from the field. That is what hurt us. We just have to work on our shot making ability in practice and get ready for the next game. I don't expect us to continue shooting 27% fro the field for the rest of the season. We will be better!" said Coach Brewer.
