WACO, TX---The Red River Athletic Conference announced their 20201 RRAC Women's Basketball All-Conference Honors on Saturday afternoon. The USW Lady Mustangs had 3 student-athletes land on the list: Isabel Rodriguez, Rhianna Bortoli and Kenedi Tanks. "Anytime you're being acknowledged by your peers, it's always a great thing. All three awards are well deserved. They all improved from last season and earned this recognition. I'm proud of them and our whole program for what we overcame this season" said Head Coach Devonte Brewer.

Isabel Rodriguez earned First Team Selection honors for her outstanding play this season. Rodriguez lead the Lady Mustangs in almost every offensive category. The El Paso native averaged 14.6 points per game, 12.36 rebounds, 4.18 assists, 3.45 steals and 2.36 blocks per game in conference play. Rodriguez had 10+ rebounds in 8 of the 11 games on the season and tied a school record with 23 rebounds on January 25th against LSU-Alexandria. Rodriguez ranked 8th in the NAIA in total rebounds per game (12.36), 11th in defensive rebounds per game (7.82), 11th in offensive rebounds per game (4.54) and 43rd in assists per game (4.18). "Isa being selected as a first teamer is a great accomplishment for her. Knowing her, she's going to dedicate it to her team. But her relentless pursuit of the basketball and her willingness to do whatever the team needs is the reason why she is as great as she is" said Coach Brewer. 

Rhianna Bortoli was named as a Second Team Selection honoree. In her 5 RRAC games, the Arizona native averaged 12.6 points per game and shot 29% from the 3-point line. She also averaged 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 3.4 steals per game. For the overall season, Bortoli was 27th in the NAIA in steals per game (2.78) 

Junior Kenedi Tanks was named to the RRAC All-Champion of Character Team for her dedication on and off the court. "Kenedi overcame a major injury last year and came back as one of our leaders. She is a 4.0 student and one of the best examples of what you're able to do when you overcome adversity and be the best person you can be" said Coach Brewer.
