WACO, Texas -- Dylann Bylund of University of the Southwest (N.M.) hauled in the RRAC Volleyball Attacker of the Week award for March 1-7. She was joined by USW's Sarah Marquez as RRAC Setter of the Week and the Mustangs' Autumn Lopez as RRAC Defender of the Week for the same dates.

This is the fifth set of conference awards for the 2020 volleyball season, which is typically completed in the fall but was suspended to spring play this year.

Bylund powered home 34 kills in a 2-1 week for the Mustangs. The senior setter from Colorado Springs, Colo., posted 14 kills and 10 digs in a 3-0 sweep of Howard Payne University (Texas), and she accounted for 10 and 12 en route to a 3-1 win over Jarvis Christian College (Texas). Byland averaged 3.1 kills and 3.2 digs per set for the week with an attack percentage of .176. Bylund is in the top three for kills and digs in the RRAC this season. USW advanced to 1-0 in conference play and 2-3 overall. 

Marquez compiled 78 assists for the week. The sophomore setter from El Paso, Texas, delivered 36 assists and 14 digs in a 3-1 loss to Mid-American Christian University (Okla.), and she tacked on 31 assists in the win over JCC. Marquez averaged 7.1 assists per set for the week, and she is second in the conference in assists (7.9 per set) for the season. 

Lopez led USW with 51 digs last week. The junior libero from San Antonio, recorded 21 digs against MACU, and 17 in the victory over HPU. Lopez committed only one receiving error in 45 total attempts. She leads the RRAC with 4.3 digs per set overall.
