Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — The University of the Southwest women's soccer team fell 6–0 to Oklahoma City University on Thursday afternoon at Brian Harvey Field.
Oklahoma City scored early with a penalty kick in the 5th minute and added five goals in the second half. Southwest managed two total shots, with one on goal from Michelle Perez in the 87th minute.
Goalkeeper Genesis Davila played the full match and recorded 14 saves on 20 shots on goal. Joanna Estrada also contributed a shot attempt in the second half.
Southwest earned two corner kicks and committed two fouls. Oklahoma City finished with 25 shots, seven corner kicks, and six fouls. Three yellow cards were issued to Oklahoma City players.
The Mustangs (0–2–0) continue non-conference play on Saturday, Aug. 23 at Southwestern Christian.
