The University of the Southwest Women's Soccer Team finished up their regular season over the weekend. They finished conference play with a record of (8-2-1) and were (10-4-2) overall. The 8 wins in RRAC play were the most in program history and the 2^nd place finish is the best regular-season finish in program history. The Mustangs will now hold a bye in the first round of the conference tournament and will play the highest remaining seed of the two winners of the first-round games. They will take on whoever that opponent may be on Thursday, November 11^th at Eagle Field on the campus of Texas A&M Texarkana. If they were to advance, the championship would take place on Saturday the 13^th on Eagle Field. 
 
As a team, the Mustangs racked up some impressive stats for the year. The team compiled an impressive 58 goals in 16 regular-season contests, which is eighteenth nationally and would put them 3^rd in program history with at least one more game to play. They are averaging 3.63 goals per game which are 19^th best in all of the NAIA. They have racked up 37 assists on the year which ranks 2^nd in program history. They have allowed 29 goals or 1.81 goals per game to this point in the season. They scored 44 of their goals in conference play which puts them 2^nd in the conference in goals scored in RRAC games. 
 
As far as individuals go, the Mustangs were led offensively by senior Priscilla Garcia who racked up 16 goals, 7 assists, and 39 points on the year. Her 16 goals and 39 points were both tied for 17^th nationally and 3^rd in the conference. Maya Sanchez and Jennifer Schroeder were 2^nd and 3^rd on the team with 10 and 8 goals respectively. Corrina Ortiz scored 4 goals while Emma Rocco, Sierra Saenz, and Josie Crump all had 3 goals. Mayeli Torres and Kimberly Nevarez each had 2 goals. Kayla Duran, Adriana Orwig, Makenzie Kleinsteuber, Adriana Guzman, and Lauren Zarate each had a goal apiece. As far as assists go, Jennifer Schroeder led the way with 8 assists which were 5^th in the conference. Priscilla Garcia and Maya Sanchez both finished with 7 assists, Mayeli Torres finished with 5, and Makenzie Kleinsteuber had 2. Briana Brock, Kayla Duran, Emma Rocco, Adriane Guzman, Arlette Yanez, Karen Eliserio, Adriana Guzman, and Josie Crump all tallied 1 assist for the Mustangs potent offense. Freshman Goalkeeper Kristina Simpson played most of the minutes in goal this year racking up 63 saves, 4 shutouts, and 26 Goals allowed. The 63 saves were good for 5^th in the conference. 
 
The Mustangs will have about a week and a half to get prepared for their November 11^th semifinal matchup as they look to make a run at the RRAC Tournament Championship.
