HOBBS, N.M. -- The University of the Southwest women's soccer team continues Red River Athletic Conference action on Thursday afternoon, hosting LSU Shreveport at 1 p.m. (MT) at the Bob Moran Soccer Field.

The Lady Mustangs (0-8-0) are still in the search of their first victory of the season and will look to bounce back after a hard-fought contest against Xavier on September 27. 

LSU Shreveport (3-5-0) enters Thursday's matchup riding momentum, having opened conference play with back-to-back home wins this past weekend. The Pilots, undefeated in RRAC competition, will be making their first road appearance in league play as they aim to extend their winning streak.

Southwest will remain at home following Thursday's contest, returning to action on Saturday, October 4, for another conference matchup against North American University. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. (MT).
