"I thought our guys responded well after a tough series last weekend. It was a long road trip, and I'm proud of the guys for finding ways to win the series at a tough LSUA. We just ran out of gas there at the end and couldn't come up with any clutch hits like the first two games, but that's baseball. I thought we competed more on the mound and our defense was really good for the most part. Overall, we played good fundamental baseball all weekend.

"Now it's time for a long trip back, a couple days off, and then back to work next week. We have to continue playing good baseball for the remainder of the stretch, and I'm excited to get back to work with our guys."
