LUBBOCK, Texas – The Southwest men's cross country team closed out the Texas Tech open as the men's team placed 15th overall Friday morning at the LCU Cross Country Course.

The Mustangs scored a total of 433 points and were led by a 79th-place finish by Michael Dominguez. Dominguez earned a 29:13 time, followed by Christopher Espino, who finished in 96th place with a 30:54.

Alex Naranjo (33:07), Adam Pirkl (33:12) and Aiden Nelms (33:41) followed suit in 102-103-104 to wrap up the times for the Mustangs for the day.
