Hobbs, NM - The USW men's soccer team came from behind to defeat Texas College 3-1 at the Bob Moran soccer field. Texas College went into the lead from a long ball that beat the USW backline for a finish in the bottom left corner of the USW goal. In form senior forward Jack Laurie tapped in the equalizer on a cross from freshman midfielder Antonio Menendez.

Menendez would later score two goals to seal the win and cement a play off spot. With a record of 7-3-1 in conference, the Mustangs surpassed their previous record of 6 wins and for the second back to back season, they will host a play off game.  Details of the opening round will be determined.
