KERRVILLE, TX---The Mustang Golf program competed in the 2021 Schreiner Spring Shootout on March 8th and 9th in Kerrville, TX. The tournament was hosted by Schreiner University at Club at Comanche Trace golf course.
The Lady Mustangs finished 8th in the tournament shooting 771 for the tournament.
Iris Sedillo finished in 27th place shooting +32 for the tournament, with a Round 1 score of 86 and Round 2 score of 90.
Sydni Hill finished up in 36th place with a total score of 183 (+39).
Karisa Raines and
Rhiannon Armendariz rounded out the final 2 spots finishing in 50th and 52nd place overall.
"The girls played well the first day. They all hit a lot of good shots and will use that to continue improving as the season goes on" said Head Coach
Steve Landry.
The Men's program entered in 3 individuals into the tournament and were led again by
Boyd Kapalamoto who shot +12 for the tournament.
Justin Pasitney finished with a Round 1 score of 78 and Round 2 of 83, to finish T-39 for the tournament. The final golfer,
Aaron Robledo finished T-49, shooting +21 for the tournament.
