WILLOW PARK, Texas — The University of the Southwest men's golf team turned in a strong performance at the Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational, finishing fourth out of 12 teams following three rounds at Squaw Creek Golf Club. The Mustangs posted a team score of +12, competing against a deep field that included Oklahoma City, Tyler Junior College, and host Texas Wesleyan.
Southwest opened the tournament with a solid first round on Monday, placing itself firmly in contention heading into day two. The Mustangs followed with another consistent second round to maintain their position near the top of the leaderboard entering Tuesday's final round.
The Mustangs closed the event with a steady final round, highlighted by Jorge Molinar III, who paced the team with a final‑round 69 (-2) to finish as Southwest's low scorer for the tournament. Molinar's under‑par round was one of the top individual scores of the day and propelled him up the individual standings.

Jayden Romig also contributed with rounds of 77, 72, and 72, and Konner Iglehart rounded out the Mustang lineup with solid performances throughout the event.
