WESTWORTH VILLAGE, TX — The University of the Southwest women's golf team wrapped up their first tournament of the fall season at Hawks Creek Golf Club on Tuesday with a determined effort, finishing tied for 8th place with Southwestern Christian at a team total of 174-over-par. The final round saw the Mustangs battling through tough conditions, with standout performances and valuable experience gained across the board.
Sophomore, Sophia Vidal, led the Mustangs in round three, carding a seven-over-par for the day and finishing with a tournament total of 20-over-par. She played steadily across the front and back nine, keeping her ahead of the pack.
