HOUSTON, Texas – University of the Southwest and University of Saint Thomas worked to a 0-0 double overtime draw Thursday evening in Red River Athletic Conference action.
 
Junior Dominic Kutzke stepped up and made a match-high eight saves.
 
Fellow junior Jack Laurie also added a match-high five shots, while Ioan Muresan came off the bench and contributed three shots.
 
Junior Fernando Sanchez added two shots. Senior Maximilian Naranjo, senior Robel Yemane, senior Ramiro Perez and junior Ian Kesterson each added a shot.
 
St. Thomas narrowly outshot USW by a 15-14 margin.
 
The Mustangs return to action Saturday at Houston-Victoria.
