Following the event Head Coach Tyler James said "The team had a great performance finishing behind 3 of the top ranked junior colleges in the nation. I was very proud of the outcome with it being our first tournament of the Spring. The boys showed a lot of focus and drive despite the tough competition. They were able to stick with these teams on day 1, and battled hard the second day. It was a great experience for a lot of the guys who have yet to play this year, getting the chance to compete at home as well. There was a lot of great things we were able to take away from this, as well as moment."
The next event for both the Men's and Women's golf team will be a tournament hosted by Midland College on March 15th and 16th where they will face some more stiff competition.
